Harvest is a long-standing time tracker with invoicing. LooperTask puts the timer on a task board, so the work, the hours and the invoice sit in one place.

AI agents work on the same board

LooperTask has a hosted MCP server. Claude, Cursor and other agents take cards, comment and hand work back for review on the board your team already uses. Hours and money stay with people: an agent can't log billable time, and invoices are only readable with a person's own token.

When Harvest fits better

If your tasks already live in Asana or Jira and you only need hours and invoices, Harvest does that well, and it connects to QuickBooks Online and Xero.

Switching over

Export the detailed time report and the invoices from Harvest as CSV and upload them in LooperTask under Invoices → Import. You see what will be created before anything is written. Projects and invoice numbers come along; people are matched to the members of your workspace.
